Jutta "Judy" Hutchings

Jutta was born in Kassel,Germany on November 7th, 1938. She passed away May 16th, 2025 at the age of 86. She is preceded in death by her mother and step father, Ruth and Edward Leggett, and her son Thomas Schneider. At the time of her passing, Jutta is survived by her husband of 45 years, James Hutchings. Jutta is also survived by her brother, Jochen Wilhelm, her children Mosel Bouchon (and Verian) , James Hutchings II (and Jennifer), Karen Schneider, and Petra Kilimann-Bouchon (and Klaus). Jutta was blessed to have her 9 grandchildren whom she loved so much, Jennifer, Shavonte, Juwan, Alexis, Ashantay, James III, Meleena, David, and Dominic. She was also surrounded in life by numerous great-grandchildren and other loving family members.

Jutta will be remembered by everyone she came across as being a kind, loving woman, with the biggest heart and strongest spirit. Through any challenge or adversity, her strong will always remained. She loved her family and friends endlessly.

A funeral service for Judy will be held Wednesday, June 4, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Dove Witt Family Mortuary, 6630 S. US HWY 85/87, Fountain, CO 80817. Following the funeral service will be a committal service from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Pikes Peak National Cemetery, 10545 Drennan Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80925.
