Katherine Lee McEwan

Katherine (Kathy) Lee McEwan, 67, of Colorado Springs, went to be with the Lord on August 12, 2026. Born October 21, 1958, at Fort Carson, CO, Kathy grew up in Security, CO and graduated from Widefield High School in 1977.

A faithful member of Envoy Church, Kathy lived a life marked by creativity and quiet devotion. For more than thirty years, she spent every week creating and painting china and porcelain dolls; creating beautiful pieces that became treasured gifts for friends and family. Her other great passion was the Denver Broncos. Anyone who spent time with Kathy quickly noticed the abundance of Broncos attire and memorabilia that surround her; her love for the team was unmistakable and enduring.

Kathy will be remembered for the beauty she created with her hands and the loyal spirit she carried for her faith in the Lord and her Denver Broncos.

Kathy is survived by her sister Marge (Gary) McGee, sister Helen (Rusty) Wrinkle, brother Mike (Kate) McEwan, sister-in-law Pam McEwan, nine nieces and nephews and twelve great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Joan McEwan and her brother, Ron McEwan.

A memorial service will take place at 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel, 3825 Airport Road in Colorado Springs.
