Hey brother I’m sorry it has taken me so long to write  you but here it is when we first met we didn’t like each other at all even got into a fight ( no one was injured) after that we slowly became friends but as we spent more time together you became my brother even after high school we kept in touch we hang out a lot you myself and Trey the boys I miss playing pool with you and just shooting hoops even though I sucked hahaha you where always just so full of life I only wish you where still here to meet my kids Trey and I still talk we talk about you as well all the good times we had you will always be in my heart  I love you brother

I just found this and wanted to sign, even though it's late. My son, Stuart Hetzler, was a childhood friend of Lance and we live around the corner on Kipling. I have fond memories of Lance riding his bike everywhere and playing with Stuart as kids. I saw him shooting hoops all the time in your cul-de-sac!  I also saw him at King Soopers after high school a few times and he was always so friendly and helpful. I'm terribly sorry for this tragic loss of your son. We were all so shocked when we heard the news. Emily, Stuart and I all send our most heartfelt condolences.

<3 rest in paradise hun... ur very loved n very missed by soo many... and it still brakes my heart that u had to leave us so soon...... uv touched many hearts and will always have a place here just for you...  ur a very special person and you have a bbiigg heart... you'll never be forgotten .. and I pray that you are watching over everyone you love and care for... stay strong ....   :)

Leann and family, my most sincere condolences in suffering such an unnatural loss. It is so heartbreaking to bury your own child. My heart and prayers go out to you that God uplift you and keep you strong. I never got to meet your son Leann, but remember how we shared stories about our children and how they were doing, while on our smoke breaks. I knew Lance when he was a student at King elementary. I also would see and talk to him when I shopped at King Soopers.

My deepest sympathies to the family. I will always remember Lance as a young boy coming to play with my boys. He was always so sweet. I ran into him years later when he was working at Safeway. He was the same sweet young boy just all grown up.
