Landon Matthew Rainier left this Earth to begin his next adventure on December 15, 2019 at 2:06 p.m., in Colorado Springs, CO, surrounded by many of those who loved him while in his mother’s arms. Landon was born in Colorado Springs, CO on November 1, 2016 to his parents, Nicole Annamarie Rainier and Matthew Stephen Rainier. Landon was known by his family and friends as a sweet, gentle, joyous little boy, who loved nothing more than to be outside with his sister and going some rounds upstairs in the queen size octagon. Aside from all the playing, he wouldn’t hesitate to cuddle up with his mom on the couch to watch a movie.
Landon brought so much happiness and joy to anyone who had the pleasure of being in his presence. From friends and family to even the clerk at McDonald’s drive-thru window whom he always insisted to say hi to. His smile and laughter will forever be intertwined in our hearts and emblazoned in our souls.
Landon is survived by his parents, Nicole and Matthew Rainier. His brother Ardyn Hamilton Holdridge, and his sister Kamryn Lynn Rainier, his step-father Jay Hamilton Holdridge, his maternal grandparents Colleen Dillinger and Ray Schweining, his paternal grandparents Rita and Stephen Rainier. His maternal great-grandparents Sherry and Donald Brown. His uncle Jesse Brown, great aunt Jenny Johnson, great uncles, Donnie and Tommy Brown and his cousin Liana Gloria Brown and Annabel and Emma Schweining.
Funeral services will take place at Dove-Witt Funeral Home in Colorado Springs, CO on Friday, December 20, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. and burial at Pikes Peak National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
