

Leonard Joe Garcia was born on November 6, 1940 in Tooele, Utah to the late Joe and Michaela Garcia. He retired after working for many years in building maintenance for the City of Fountain.
Leonard will be best remembered for his love of sports. He was an avid football fan, a die-hard Broncos follower, and a Colorado Rockies fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Rudy Garcia and Juan Garcia; and a sister: Phyllis Fowler.
He is survived by his four sons: Gene (June) Daoust; Ronald Daoust; Harold Daoust; and John Aragon, Jr.; his three daughters: Debra Whitney; Janet (Steve) Trujillo; and Diana (Russ) Trujillo; 21 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by three brothers: Michael (Mary) Garcia; David (Linda) Garcia; and Jose (Leticia) Garcia; and eight sisters: Judy Cox; Rachel Delgado; Patsy Arechiga; Carol Baxter; Juanita (Ernest) Roper; Irene (Jim) Sena; Geraldine Garcia; and Virginia Grant. He was a proud godfather of Voe Cox, JoeJay Torres, and Lisa Gwin.
Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 14, 2013 at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary, 6630 South US Highway 85/87, Fountain, Colorado 80817.
