Lois Pearson

Springs, Co.- Lois June Pearson 98, formerly of Sioux City, la. passed away Monday January 8,2024 at home. Lois was born at home to H.W. and Sophia (Suter) Porepp in Riverside. She attended schools there and St. Paul Lutheran school and church. Lois graduated from Central High School in 1943.

As a young adult she was employed by Western Union in San Francisco and Chicago. After returning home, she worked for Dr. Ashmore. She met her future husband when he came in for an appointment. Donald L. Pearson. They were married June 21,1952. He preceded her in death January 6, 2015. Lois was a member of Riverside Lutheran church and the quilters group before they moved to Colorado Springs in 2008 to be closer to their daughters. Lois is survived by her daughters Dawn Stewart (Tom) and Jill O'Brien. She has 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Ruth and brother Paul.

She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Colorado Springs where her services will be held on January 27,2024. She was a devout Christian her whole life.
