Lou was born on February 14, 1942, in Alvin, Texas to Louise Croix. Lou passed away peacefully on May 29, 2023. He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Doughty, his father, Everette Doughty, and his wife, Rebecca Doughty. He is survived by his loving children, Samantha Julien (Jimmy), Jeri Sandoval (Chris) and David Doughty (Marion), his 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and four nephews. Lou is a United States Army Retiree and enjoyed fishing and traveling around the country. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A visitation will occur Monday, June 5, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM; a reception will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary, 6630 S. US HWY 85/87, Fountain, CO 80817.
