Marvin F DeLine was born to Kenneth R DeLine and Myrna DeLine (Lewis) in Morenci Michigan on September 29th 1940. He passed away in his home in Peyton, Colorado on October 17th, 2020 at the age of 80.
Marv was raised in Michigan and joined the Army at a young age and eventually served with the First Air Cavalry (Airmobile) in Vietnam. Upon returning from the war, while stationed in Germany, he met his beloved wife Christiane M DeLine (Janisch) and had his first child Robert K DeLine. Shortly after, while he was stationed in Arizona, he had his second child, Jennifer M Smith (DeLine). After serving at duty stations back in Germany, Arkansas, and finally Colorado; he retired from the Army and became a Postal Worker. After retiring from the Postal Service he followed his passions of fishing and bowling. While pursuing his love of bowling, he competed at all levels and many leagues including bowling with the best in national tournaments in Las Vegas or New Orleans every year. His happiest times were spending time with his family and welcoming his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Marvin is preceded in death by his wife Christiane M DeLine(Janisch), his parents Kenneth and Myrna DeLine, his brothers Gerald DeLine, Harold DeLine and Russel DeLine. He is survived by his son Robert K DeLine, his daughter Jennifer M Smith (DeLine), his sisters Marjorie Phipps (DeLine) and Martha Robak (DeLine) his grandchildren Aaron Smith, Nathan Smith, Colton Smith, Kailyn DeLine, Sabine DeLine, and his great grandchildren Aubrey Smith and Kaion Smith.
Services will be held at Memorial Gardens 3825 Airport Rd Colorado Springs Colorado 80910 on October 27th at 1:00 pm.
