Pedro Contreras Jr., age 36, of Fountain, Colorado was called home to the healing hands of Jesus on Sunday, January 2, 2022. He was born on January 17,1985, in Andrews, Texas, to Pedro Contreras Sr. and Mary Morin Contreras.
Pedro graduated from Mesa Ridge High School in May 2003. He then went on to attend Everest College in Colorado Springs, and received an associates degree in criminal justice 2004.
Pedro moved back to Texas in 2009 and worked in the oil fields for 6 yrs. He later moved back to Fountain, Colorado and worked on the firing ranges at Ft. Carson for 4 yrs.
Pedro was working for Uber Eats and Instacart as a delivery driver.
Pedro is survived by his loving mother Mary Martinez; his loving father Pedro Contreras Sr. (Zulema Bueno); stepfather, Abel Martinez; his loving Sisters, Diamond Stinson and Amanda Contreras; brother in-law, Deon Stinson and his one and only loving nephew Edwin Stinson and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family would like to give thanks to God for the wonderful years and the time we were blessed with Pedro. Pedro was a one of a kind and unique young man. He was so loving, humble, compassionate, forgiving, and he would give you the shirt off his back and his last dollar he would have in his pocket he had a wonderful sense of humor. He was so much loved by his family and friends.
