Phillip Z. Aldridge
May 26, 1936 – September 14, 2019
Phillip Zane Aldridge, husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully and went home with Jesus on September 14, 2019 in Fountain, Colorado. He was born on May 26, 1936 in Carthage, Missouri to Roger and Julia Aldridge. Phil was the oldest of four brothers (Gary, Tom and Virgil) and two sisters (Katie & Michelle). He graduated from Shasta Union High School in Redding, California and later a Junior College in Colorado Springs. Phil enlisted in the Air Force in 1954 and proudly served our country for 26 years. His first tour of duty was in Japan where he met and married his first love, Hanako Yamada who survives him along with his children, Edward Aldridge (Joy Morgan) and Betty Ennis (Steven) and grandchildren, Madison and Mia Ennis. Phil loved God and music and served in the church while his health allowed. He enjoyed movies, fishing, football, golf, and every book he could find. Mostly, he loved his family and was married to Hanako for 61 years.
Phil will be interned at Fort Logan National Cemetery with an honors ceremony on Monday, September 30th at 1:15 pm (3698 S. Sheridan Blvd. Pavilion C), Denver, CO 80236. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to the Springs Rescue Mission at 5 W.
