Nina was an outstanding nurse. I can still hear her voice when she was excited about something.  She talked alot about her kids and husband.  It was obivious how much she loved them and Spencer.  She brought some of her beautiful quilts to show us and pictures of her quilt display. She was very proud of her family and her work, a very talented lady.  I pray for those left behind, that you make it through your great sorrow.

I worked with Nina on postpartum at Evans. She was a very kind person and it showed in how she took care of her patients.  Whenever I tool over care on the next shift her patients would tell me how much they liked her and how she helped them with their newborns. She was such an asset to these new moms and dads and will be sorely missed.
Rest in peace Nina.

Nina's love for quilting encouraged me to pursue that hobby. Always had fun shopping for fabrics together....or going on the annual quilting Shop Hop event...quilt shows...or just working on a project while we visited. I will always cherish those memories.  The butterfly applique quilt is the first one we tackled together and still my favorite. 

Your smile could light up the whole world.. you are my angel. I love you 

She loved her fur babies just as much as us kids lol. The reason I am an animal lover today. 

Nina was nice enough to open her house to us and we made tamales. It was so much fun. We will truly miss her. So sorry for your loss. My prayers for your family.

I have many fond memories of working with Raylene on the Mother baby unit at Evans. She was an amazing nurse. My sincere condolences to the family. 

Nina was such a kind and helpful person.  When my dad got sick and needed 24 hour care, she set up a schedule for us to take care of him taking the first shift.  She loved her children. Brayden and Marissa were her world and loved them so much.  She will be missed tremendously. 

Nina was one of the first people I met working at EACH. It was so cool to find someone from my home area, she actually knew where my tiny hometown was!! I appreciated her wit and her sweet way with her patients.  

I was Nina’s nurse manager at Evan’s Army hospital. She was a strong clinical nurse who cared deeply for her patients. May God grant the peace and comfort to her family during this difficult time. She will be dearly missed. RIP Nina. 

One memory stands out.  My brother and I were staying the night at my Uncle Mikes house.  We were in the backyard playing on the sky fort.  Someone dropped a railroad spike from above onto my head and I was bleeding pretty bad.  Raylena helped me inside and helped to get me bandaged up.   I was 6 or 7 so she must have been around 9 or 10.
