Ray passed away peacefully in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born to his parents Fred and Leona Zeitler in Merrill, Michigan. After graduating from High School, he enlisted into the US Navy, serving for four years as a Fighter Jet Mechanic. Ray started his career with General Motors, retiring after 32 years. He then helped his brother build houses. He was involved over the years with horse racing, motorcycle racing, and riding his bike with friends throughout the country. He then started a new life when he moved from Michigan to Lake George, Colorado to spend time with his son Jim and daughter-in-law Sandie. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and hiking with his son. He was very proud of the house he built in Colorado and loved living in the Colorado Rocky Mountains.
Ray is survived by his daughter Karen Comstock, son Jim Comstock, and daughter-in-law Sandie Comstock, and many friends and relatives.
He was preceded in death by all 8 of his brothers and sisters, and his son Raymond Dale Zeitler.
Ray’s final resting place will be Roselawn Cemetery in Saginaw, Michigan.
