September 5, 1931 – January 26, 2014
James “Robbie” Roberson, a long time Fountain resident, passed away on January 26, 2014 at the age of 82.
Robbie was born on September 5, 1931 in Birmingham, Alabama to George and Eula Roberson.
He was retired from the United States Air Force (20 years) and Civil Service (19 years). He was proud to have served his country as a Vietnam veteran. Robbie married Julia (Downey) Roberson on July 26, 1966.
He is survived by his wife Judy, daughters Cheryl Roberson, Stacey Velasquez (Chris), Candy Allen (Bob), granddaughters Jessica and Mandi Velasquez, and two sisters and one brother.
Private services will be held to honor his life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Special Olympics of Colorado.
