After leaving the Army, he continued to serve his community at COMCOR in Colorado Springs. He was known for his kindness, compassion, and the inspiration he gave to those around him, leaving a lasting impression on colleagues and friends.
During retirement, Robert enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He liked watching sports, playing pinochle, and traveling.
Robert’s legacy lives on through his family: two daughters, Jeannette Love and Angela Lopez; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters; one brother; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
