

Ruth “Perriman” Marders-Dickson passed from this life into the arms of her savior on August 20, 2012 at the age of 88 yrs, 6 months and 9 days. She was born on February 11, 1924 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Emit and Nellie (Schrum) Perriman.
Ruth graduated from Fountain High School, and retired from the El Paso County Clerk’s office after 36 years of service. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Post 4051 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge # 143.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who enjoyed camping, traveling, polka dancing, square dancing, reading, listening to Gospel Music and cherished her faithful Chihuahua, “Reece”.
Ruth is survived by her daughter Cheryl Dianne “Marders” Morley-Puckett; Grandchildren Sherie “Morley” (Mark) Dyer, Shailene “Morley” (Arzy) Richardson, Chuck Puckett and Mike Morley; Great-grandchildren Kelsey Dyer, Payton Morley, Emily Morley and Langley Morley; and niece Olena Majewski.
She was preceded in death by husbands George Marders and Henry Allen Dickson, her parents Frank and Nellie Perriman, twin sister Rosetta Selby, brother Ray Perriman and son Dennis Marders.
A private celebration of life was held by the family.
