

Tara Brandi Buckler passed away unexpectedly on February 21st 2012 at her home in El Paso County at the age of 27. Tara was born on December 5th 1984 to Mark and Brenda (Towell) Buckler in Denver, Colorado.
She is survived by her mother Brenda Buckler; maternal grandparents Louis and Helen Towell; siblings John Paul Key, Austin Buckler, Breana Buckler (Steve Demmert), Cody Buckler, Dakota Buckler (Tessa Bridenbacher), Brittany Buckler, and Jacob Abeyta; children Armond, Jackson and Carson as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father Mark Buckler and paternal grandparents’ Charles and Patricia Buckler. She also leaves behind numerous heartbroken friends and honorary family members.
Tara was a life- long Fountain resident. She attended Lorraine Elementary, Aragon Middle School and graduated from Fountain-Ft. Carson High School in 2003. Growing up she had been active in the New Horizon Church, Girl Scouts, band, choir, and during high school was a member of Link Crew, Student government and on the yearbook staff. She played FV baseball and basketball in high school. She participated in numerous district spelling bees, and math competitions. Tara enjoyed family outings, Zumba classes, cuddling on the couch watching movies with her boys, and spending time with her friends. She loved to hike, camp and ride four-wheelers. Sleek cars would definitely catch her eye. She had a beautiful voice and knew the lyrics to almost every song on the radio. She loved all music, but country was her favorite. She was a girly girl and thought make up was a must! Tara was employed at Adesa of Colorado Springs as a Financial Administrator. Tara was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece and friend. She was always so full of life and always seemed to know the right thing to say. She will be remembered as a caring friend with a beautiful smile, great laugh, twinkling eyes and a vibrant personality.
A memorial fund has been set up in Tara’s honor at Wells Fargo Banks.
Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 27 at Dove-Witt Funeral Mortuary. A “Celebration of Life” service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28 at the Pikes Peak Christian Church, 4955 Bradley Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80911.
