Tita Osio Lastrella

May 28, 1923 – June 30, 2025

With deep sorrow and profound gratitude for her life, we announce the passing of Tita Osio Lastrella, lovingly known as Mama, who returned to the Lord on June 30, 2025, at 10:36 PM, at the age of 102.

Born on May 28, 1923, in Borongan, Samar, Philippines, Mama was the heart and soul of the Lastrella family—a woman of quiet strength, unwavering devotion, and deep Catholic faith. Her rosary beads were rarely far from her hands, and her prayers—often said in whispers at dawn—were the invisible thread that held generations together.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Promencio Lastrella, infant children Baby Boy and Baby Girl, by her beloved children Hortencia Lastrella Buenabajo and Bienvenido Lastrella, and by a grandchild Emilyn Hautea and great-grandchildren Olivia Grace and Jerud Fernandez.

She is survived by her children:

• Eddie Lastrella (wife Evelyn) – Miami, FL

• Ollie Lastrella Cadag (husband Rudy - deceased) – Surprise, AZ

• Rita Lastrella Fletcher – Fort Lauderdale, FL

• Emy Lastrella Hautea (husband Allan) – Colorado Springs, CO

• Paul Lastrella (wife Lorianne) – Colorado Springs, CO

• Sonny Lastrella (wife Jan) – Centennial, CO

Mama was blessed with 20 grandchildren:

• Aldie Buenabajo (wife Irene); Mateo Buenabajo (wife Katherine);

• Bendie Lastrella (wife Anthea); Berly Lastrella (wife Cheng);

• Melissa and Crystal Alvaro Lastrella;

• Noel Lastrella (wife Michelle); Rigel Lastrella (wife Cathy);

• MaryGrace Cadag Fernandez (husband Jerome); Sharon Cadag Supan (husband Frank); Valerie Lastrella Cadag;

• Kristopher Lastrella Fletcher;

• Emilyn Hautea - Deceased; Aileen Lastrella Hautea Felder (husband Eddie); Allan Lastrella Hautea Jr. (wife Amanda);

• Bryan and Jeffrey Lastrella; Meghan Lastrella Anderson (husband Mike)

A Catholic Funeral Service will be celebrated on July 10, 2025 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, with viewing services on July 9, 2025 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home and burial at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
