Good bye Aunt Beryl. Thanks for the fond memories.

Beryl Kiefer graduated from Phoenixville High School and  West Chester Teaching College.  She began her teaching career in the Allentown School district. The majority of her teaching career was in the Boyertown Area School district,  from where she retired as an early childhood teacher (first grade).  Beryl traveled with her husband Rev. Robert Kiefer, who at the beginning of his pastoral career was a Commissioned Naval Chaplain Officer.  In the mid 1960's Beryl and Rev. Kiefer moved to Niantic, Pa. where Rev Kiefer served as  Pastor of Christ Evangelical Church, Niantic.  Beryl was an active member at Christ Lutheran; she served on committees and on occasion played piano duets with the resident organist.  She was involved in a retired teachers group that met monthly.  Beryl was loved by many from Niantic church her home congregation.  Many of her students consistently visited her over the years to thank her for her patience and guidance as their teacher.  Several of her students pursued a  teaching career and kept her informed of their teaching adventures.  Beryl has always had a kind and good word of encouragement for family, friends, neighbors and members of the church. Beryl lived in the Niantic area for 45+ years.  Her final years of life were at Sanatoga Court Assistant Living, located in the Pottstown area.  She is preceded in Death by her Husband Rev. Robert Kiefer.   Beryl will be missed by many who loved her.  Her faith sustained her these many year of her life and pilgrimage here on earth.  May the Lord be gracious and receive her lovingly into his arms of eternal rest.
