

Albert Delaney Tripp, affectionately known as “AL,” passed away leaving behind a legacy of family, friendship, and cherished memories. Born on April 21, 1939, Albert lived a life marked by dedication to those he loved and the communities he was proud to be a part of.
Al was a longtime member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #4123, joining in 1996, and was also a Life Member of the Fredericksburg Elks Lodge #875. He enjoyed the fellowship and friendships he built through these organizations over the years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Daisy May brown Tripp and Albert Frederick Tripp; his sister Mary; and his brothers Elwood, Stanley, William and Paul Tripp. Al was the youngest of the brothers.
Al is survived by his loving wife, Rita; his sisters Shirley, Doris, and Carolyn of Manassas; his son William Tripp of South Carolina; his grandson William Tripp; granddaughter Kristal Tripp , great-grand children William and Jillian Tripp, Lyla and Ronan Cundiff great- great grandchildren piper and Ada Tripp with many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
Al found joy in the simple things in life. He was a member of Hollywood church. He loved spending time fishing, playing pool, and gathering with friends. One of his favorite places to visit was Shady Lane, where he enjoyed going for crabs and sharing good times with those around him.
Al will be remembered for his quiet strength, his love of family, and the many memories he created with those who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
