He was born September 22, 1998, the son of Celina Childress and Alex Mendez Sr.
He attended Stafford schools and successfully graduated from the Turning
Point High School Program in 2018.
Alex also volunteered for a period of
time at an area non profit organization where he and his work were always
valued and very much needed for the community’s improvement.
Alex was a cheerful, outgoing, intelligent young man. People who knew
him gravitated towards his magnetic personality. He had a beautiful smile
on the outside and humility in his heart on the inside. Alex will fondly be
remembered for many special reasons, especially for his respect and love
of others.

and Franchesca Mendez and his brothers, Vincent and Isaiah
Featherstone. He also leaves his grandmother, Juliana Sanchez and
