Dear McGrath family

We knew Amy when she lived in Boston. She had worked with my husband Sep Farah. We became fast friends and went to shows (Six, Neil Diamond and Hadestown) in Boston.  I took her to Rockport MA and another time we learned how to make  Chinese dumplings together. She was so smart, and lovely to be around. She truly loved her family. Our sincere condolences to you all. May she rest in peace.

I’m so, so sorry to hear this.
I had the chance to work with Amy over the years, across Chicago and Boston, and I always truly appreciated her. She had this rare mix of calm, quiet strength, real professionalism, and deep knowledge—paired with a very sharp sense of humor that would catch you off guard in the best way.
She was also incredibly attentive to others—always checking in, always asking for news, always genuinely caring. And above all, she loved her family so much. She spoke about them, her dog, and her time at the lake with such warmth—you could feel how much they meant to her.
Amy, you will be deeply missed. It was truly an honor to know you.

I met Amy a number of times as we both worked for sanofi rare diseases - Amy in Boston and me in Sydney, Australia. I always enjoyed our interactions and she was a huge supporter of what we were doing in the Pompe space in Australia.
I am very sorry to hear of her passing. Amy will be greatly missed.

My deepest condolences to Amy’s family and friends. 
Amy and I worked together at Sanofi. I was looking to hire a senior commercial leader, and a colleague of mine said ”You should meet Amy, you will work well together”. And he was right. 
Amy was smart, a wonderful colleague, she challenged me and I learned from her. She had the ability to bring people together and was respected by her colleagues. 
What I cherish most though, is her sense of humor. Amy and I were discussing ”what was going on in the world” when Amy texted me ”I sent you something”. That something was a T-shirt, and I suspect I am not the only one who got one. It brings me a smile when I think about it. 
Amy, you will be missed. Today I am thinking of your family who you spoke so fondly about.

Amy was one of my best friends for 25 years and a colleague for about 10 years. She was a kind and generous friend. We loved the same music and spent many years going to an Americana festival-Merlefest at the end of April each year. One time, back at the cabin, we were playing some game, which included drawing a card with one word descriptions for a person playing. We were all colleagues and worked with Amy. When it was Amy’s turn to be described, the card contained “ant” and “glow worm” among others. EVERY ONE OF US picked “ant” because of Amy’s hard work and diligence but she was v unhappy with that. She wanted to be a glow worm. 
We also went to a lot of baseball. Durham Bulls here in NC. When I visited her in Chicago and Boston, she took me to a Cubs and Red Socks game. Three or four rows back. Stupid expensive tickets. Or she would buy two tickets to a show or music and invite me along. She was generous to a fault, a loyal friend, and I miss her terribly already.

Extremely shocked to hear of the untimely demise of Amy … great memories of working with her esp launching Nexviazyme across international markets . Gentle and kind ,determined and persuasive , she always worked towards what was in best interests of patients . My condolences to family members and friends as this is a big loss. May she rest in peace.

My deepest condolences to Amy’s family.   She will be greatly missed as a shining light in this world.  
I had the privilege of knowing and working with Amy across multiple companies spanning many years.   Amy had a uniquely resolute and deep commitment to advocating for patients with rare diseases in need of advocacy, a strong voice, and innovations.  She channeled her energy and talents towards bringing more good to the world.   Her humility combined with her patience,  sense of humor, and willingness to “cause good trouble” to help others made her an absolute joy to work with.   
The only passion that was deeper than supporting these causes was the love she had for her family.  She would speak of her beloved family and her happy place surrounded by loved ones often.  
Those of us continuing the work Amy was passionate about will continue to carry the torch forward.

I feel truly privileged to have worked with Amy for nearly eight years, including three years under her leadership. She was a deeply sincere person whose integrity and kindness were evident in everything she did.

Amy was more than a manager to me. She was a consistently supportive and inspiring leader who believed in her team and brought out the best in those around her. I am profoundly saddened by her passing and will always carry with me the lessons, encouragement, and trust she gave so generously.
