Anthony Tinnell

Anthony “Tony” Wayne Tinnell, 43, of Spotsylvania passed away peacefully, at his home with his family, and went into the arms of His Savior on Saturday, October 4th, 2014. Tony was a member of Hope Presbyterian Church in Spotsylvania. He was a loving and faithful husband, father, and friend. He will be missed by many.

He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Carrie; five beautiful children, Megan, Amanda, Bethany, Sarah, and James Tinnell who were the apple of their father’s eye; father, John Tinnell and wife Marcia; mother-in-love, Vicki Kidd; two sisters, Lisa Tinnell and Tara Tinnell-Perryman and husband Anthony; brother Mark Tinnell and wife Lauren; brother-in-love, Joshua Kidd; and his nephews and nieces, Brian, Jayson, Brooke, Riley, and Kaiden.

Tony was preceded in death by his wonderful mother, Priscilla J. Woodard-Tinnell, and his beloved grandparents, Earl E. Woodard, Charlene M. Almarode-Woodard, Howard Frank Tinnell, and Gracie Dewey Baber-Tinnell.

A Life Celebration Service will be held at Hope Presbyterian Church on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 5:00 PM with a reception following in the church fellowship hall.
