Arthur retired from University of Mary Washington after many years of dedicated service.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Lynne; son Kevin Poyck and wife Stephanie; daughter Elizabeth and Husband David; sister, Bernice Ramer and husband George ; brother, Walter Poyck and wife Carol; and four grandchildren, Griffin and Lauren Poyck and Joseph and Audrey Zelinka: brother in law Phillip H. Barker and wife Terri.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jeremiah Poyck and brother, William Poyck.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg from 7-9:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at the funeral home at 2:00 pm., with burial to follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in his name to the Fredericksburg SPCA or Mary Washington Hospice.
