Aster Lee Burnett

She was born on October 28, 1931 in Camden, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Harvey E. and Amelia (Florence) Provow. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis R. Burnett, and her three siblings; Billy Provow, Faye Smith, and Ray Provow.

She is survived by sister, Nancy Knott, daughters: Rhonda Pelletier of Fredericksburg and Debra Howell (Malcolm) of Richmond, grandchildren: Jeremy Pelletier (Dana), Katherine Miller (JR), Laura Mehfoud (Nick), and Nikki Pelletier, and one great grandchild: Emma Pelletier. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Aster had a really strong faith in God. She was a member of Spotswood Baptist Church where she held several positions within the Children's Ministry for many years. She also enjoyed working with the VBS team.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am Thursday, December 18, 2025 at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg with Rev. Jim Stone officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fredericksburg, VA.
