Bonnie worked for Mary Washington Hospital as a registered nurse for many years before becoming a home health nurse.
She is survived by her daughter, Cullen Jones; brother, Robert Murphy; two grandchildren, Rebecca Aydan and Daemon Alexander; and a great granddaughter, Madison Avery.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at 4:00 pm at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg, with the family receiving friends an hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Jackson, South Carolina.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Local Breast Cancer foundation or Autism awareness organizations.
