He was a member of Local 99.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy; three children, Ethan Terry of Fort Lewis, Wash., and Jacob and Madisyn Terry, both of Partlow; granddaughter Addison; his father, Robert Terry Jr.; eight siblings, Norman Terry, Sharron McClung, Debhora Baxter, Robert Terry III, Greg Terry, Scott Terry, Joseph Terry and Reed Terry; 37 nieces and nephews; and his other children from the years of coaching wrestling and football.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Terry; two sisters, Donna Day and Michelle Terry; and two brothers, Paul Terry and Darren Terry.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel. A service will be held at noon Friday, Oct. 21, at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
