Bruce, wonderful human, great friend and always one for advice.  My favorite memories are the Saturday morning rides to no where.  Im forever greatful to have had him in my life.  Always in my heart.

I am so sorry, I just learned of Bruce’s passing about a week ago. We were close when we worked for the same flooring company. I’ll never forget the year he took me to Rolling Thunder and my boot melted on his exhaust pipe! He was one of a kind, and will be truly missed. Sending much love and hugs to his family.

Bruce is the brother of my bestie, Lori.  I was always at their house growing up in high school and along with their other brother Doug, they had the best parents. The house on the corner where the Jewels lived was a loving and fun place to be.  I didn’t know Bruce as well as Lori of course, but I do know that only a good heart could come from the Jewel family.  Rest in peace Bruce.  You are well loved.

I am sorry to hear of Bruce's passing. I am thankful for knowing Bruce and having spent some time with him whilst in high school (Chantilly - circa 1978 - 1980). I first met Bruce in M. Wilson's technical theater class. I enjoyed being able to work with lighting and sound for various events, plays and CHS dances after football games. Bruce was right there next to me, always lending a hand, offering a ride, helping out and cracking jokes. Bruce was a very strong willed guy and stood out as one who marched to his own drummer. He was a colorful character and always left a gathering or hang out with peeps in good humor. I wish the best to his whole family.  Loss is sad - that cant be helped - its the price paid for loving someone. In time, the sadness is replaced by fun memories and the "sting" goes away. I was shocked when I got the news you were gone but I know you’re up there riding again free and that brings a smile to my face. You will be missed greatly your kindness and sense of humor I will always remember. My condolences to the family.

Like so many that knew Bruce, from CHS and later in life, there are multitude stories. He was a fierce force, but a truly caring guy. Decades after school, and a lifetime of living, Bruce reached out to me when I had my stroke and encouraged me, advised me, gave me the lessons learned from his stroke. He made all the difference on that long recovery road. All the while cracking me up, as was his talent, with his humor. To his family and children and grandchildren that he loved, my sincere condolences. Bruce was larger than life, even when he joked about his kids “pushing him around”. That was always particularly funny because NO ONE ever pushed Bruce around. His passing truly leaves an absence we all feel. May the Lord comfort all of his loved ones.

Rest in peace Bruce. 💔 your warmth and sense of humor will be missed.

Oh Bruce, this was a total shock, to quite of few of us including myself.. 

I’m going to miss your post, that made me laugh a lot..  We all are going to miss you, your friendship, their was never a dull moment when you were around… 

You were such a Beautiful person inside and out, you were my brother 😞 I’m still in shock.. 

You were always a good friend- brother to me.. I could talk about most anything with you..

I’m in the Philippines until September 30 2026 and won’t be able to attend Bruce’s Celebration of Life and otherwise I would attend. Sending all my best thoughts and wishes and prayers to Bruce’s family and friends. I will miss my brother Bruce so very much and he’s always going to be in my heart and mind. Bruce was always one of my best friends and we had a lot of fun and great memories together. We loved Skateboarding together and love of cars and motorcycles and so much more. Miss you so very much my brother Bruce and love you so very much a big R.I. P
