Carole Beth Cease

Carole Beth Cease, 64, of Fredericksburg, VA passed away on Monday, July 4, 2016. She was passionate about her career as a supervisor at GEICO for over 35 years. In her spare time she lovingly crocheted Afghans for those with cancer. She was an avid reader and aspiring writer. Loving and proud mother and nana, enjoyed volunteering at her church and loved animals and the beautiful world God created. She was preceded in heaven by her parents, Thomas and Phyllis Cease.

She is survived by her son, Thomas and his wife Renee; her son, Joseph and his wife Jennifer; her daughter, Melissa and her husband Dave; her brother Thomas; and grandchildren, TJ, Tori, Donovan, Savannah, Jenna, Emma and Megan.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm on Friday, July 8th at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service in Fredericksburg.A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, July 9th at Hillcrest United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, she wished memorial donations may be made to the Fredericksburg food bank, the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
