Cathy Ann Chilton

Cathy Ann Chilton, age 70, of Fredericksburg, Virginia passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Mary Washington Hospital. She was born on September 12, 1953, in Waltham Massachusetts, daughter of the late Paul Corbin and Leora Corbin (Brandt). She is survived by her loving husband Thorny Chilton; son, Todd Driscoll (Elina); daughters, Ashley O'Brien (Will) and Carly Ramey; step daughters, Christy Chilton, Betsy Mason (Stuart), and Molly Scharf (Mike); sister, Cindy Thompson (Eric), Sarah Foster (Tomme), and Carol Smith (Greg) grandchildren, Cameron Ramey, Mikayla Ramey, Caitlyn O’Brien, Fiona O’brien, Liam O'Brien, Catherine Driscoll, Reed Mason, Austin Scharf, and Heidi Scharf and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her late husband Daniel Driscoll. We would also like to thank Katie Ayers and Ann Robinson as Cathy’s caregivers who cared for her throughout the past several years. They were very special to Cathy. Cathy obtained her nursing degree from Methodist Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. She was a nurse at Plastic Surgery Services of Fredericksburg at her retirement. Cathy loved nothing more than being with her family, especially her grandchildren! She enjoyed being outside and doing yardwork to maintain her garden and flower beds. Cathy and Thorny enjoyed traveling, walking and riding around Fredericksburg. Cathy loved watching the birds that frequented their yard. She loved the beach and that was a very special place for Cathy to relax and unwind. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the The Michael J.
