Cheryl Maureen Mills

Cheryl "Cheri" Maureen Mills, of Woodford, Va, born on August 17, 1962 passed away unexpectedly on April 7th, 2023, at her home. Cheri was born Fredericksburg, Va and raised in Stafford, Va. Cheri attended and graduated from Stafford high school. She later worked for DMV for 15 plus years. Cheri enjoyed listening to music and being outdoors. Cheri loved animals, however she would always say her favorite were dogs. Cheri had a pure heart and would help anyone she could no matter what. Now that Cheri has passed into the arms of our Lord, we should remind ourselves that while this is the end of Cheri’s physical life on Earth, it’s the beginning of an eternal and beautiful journey for her. Cheri joins her mother and father in Heaven. She is survived by her sister Teri Hare and husband, Timothy, and her Brother Frank Mills and his wife, Susan, two nephews, Nelson and Bruce, and four nieces, Jackie, Miranda, Melissa and Makenzie, plus more family and friends. "The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings. Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life and I will live in the house of the Lord forever." Psalm 23 At this time there are no planned arrangements, however the family will be planning a celebration of life, to celebrate the wonderful life of Cheri.
