He is survived by his loving wife Donna; son, Buddy Frye and his wife Stacey of Woodbridge; three grandsons, Andrew, Owen, and Will; sister, Mabel Wetzel of High View, West Virginia; brother, Eugene Frye of Fredericksburg; aunt, Marcella Compton of Stephen City; his extended family, the Coopers; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mr. Frye was preceded in death by his son, Chris Frye.
A funeral service will be held at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 1:00 P.M., with the family receiving friends an hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
