

Colby was born on January 29, 1985, in Blacksburg, Virginia, to Raymond and Jacqueline Lewis. He was raised in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Colby was a Renaissance Man, graduating from Virginia Tech in 2008 with a major in finance and a minor in theater. He worked in finance and accounting and also earned a real estate license. He loved comedy and acting, appearing in local theater productions and shows such as The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and Feud: Capote vs. The Swans.
Colby was charismatic and outgoing with a youthful spirit and an engaging sense of humor. He was a kind and sensitive man, a loyal friend, and a devoted son. He enjoyed traveling, meeting new people, and gaining new experiences. After embracing his Italian heritage and falling in love with Italy, he taught himself Italian. Colby’s true joy was making people laugh and having fun with his close friends who knew him best.
He was predeceased by his father, Raymond Colbourne Lewis. Survivors include his mother, Jacqueline; one sister, Kendra (Keith), and their children: Vera Ray and Loch DeStefano; his former wife and devoted friend, Katherine; a close group of steadfast friends; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
