Dave was born in West Virginia and the youngest of nine children.
He is survived by daughter Pama Vakasi (Dave); daughter-in-law Debra Belcher Bowman (Michael); grandchildren, Kerry Sullivan, Heidi Thompson and Kelly Homan and great grandchildren, Asher Thompson, Bowyn Homan, Ava Thompson and Noelle Homan.
He is predeceased by his wife Ina Webb Belcher who passed away January 16, 2013 and his son Dave Alton Belcher, Jr.
The family will receive friends at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg where a funeral service will be held at noon. Interment will be in Pohick Church Cemetery at 1 p.m. Monday, June 16, 2014.
