Obituary of DeAnté Antionne Perry
DeAnté Antionne Perry, 25 passed away at INOVA Fairfax hospital on Tuesday, October 16, 2018. DeAnté was born on July 4th at Fairfax Hospital. He was the cutest and chubbiest baby. DeAnté grew up in Springfield, Woodbridge, and Ladysmith, VA. He enjoyed playing soccer for many years as well as other sports. When he was young, he loved his movies and video games. DeAnté was always a good kid and one to bring joy to people’s lives. He loved playing board games and spending time with his family. He and his sister Cherish would keep each other busy by playing and wrestling and being each others friend into adulthood. He loved animals, especially his dog Hershie. DeAnté was a graduate of Caroline High School. He attended Germanna Community College and Liberty University. He worked for Serv Pro in Manassas doing home restoration work. He volunteered at the fire department with hopes of one day becoming a fire fighter. He loved people and was always looking to help anyone he could. He loved to travel, trying new things and foods. He loved music and if you ever wondered what was playing, it was most likely some type of oldies slow jams. He was always fun and outgoing and always was able to make people laugh with his vibrant personality. He always had a positive attitude and took pride in having good morals. The last few years of his life, he suffered with bouts of depression. Although he had no known reason of the cause for it, it overwhelmed him. Sadly we will never get or have all the answers. He is survived by his mother, Lisa Reese and husband, Patrick; father, Keith Grayson; sister, Cherish Perry; two step sisters, Lillian and Jessica Reese; maternal grandparents, Keller and Kathy Christian; paternal grandparents, Eugene and Joy Grayson; niece, Brielle Perry; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. A funeral service will be held at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 11:30 am, with the family receiving friends at the funeral home from 10:00 -11:30 am. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. You will forever be loved and missed. You were successful, “indubitably.” We know you are at peace.
