

He was born on October 31, 1942 in Chicago, IL to Irving and Wilma Ringstrom. He graduated High School from Shawnee Mission High School in Prairie Village, Kansas in 1960 and continued his education at The University of Kansas and graduated in 1965 with a degree in Journalism.
Don spent the majority of his career working in multiple positions with his final position being that of Director of Product Development R&D at Singer Sewing Machine before retiring around 2006. He will be remembered for his love of soccer and coaching. He was an avid woodworker and built multiple pieces of furniture and did outdoor projects and gardening. He loved the multiple Border Collies that he and his wife rescued over the years as well as taking cruises with his wife of 57 years. He loved living on the lake and being involved in the community.
In 1967, Don, married the love of his life, Sharon Schultz. He is survived by his daughter Deborah Delph and her husband Douglas Delph and their two sons Kyle Delph and Jared Delph; his daughter Danielle Ringstrom and her two children Jason Lessard and Amanda Lessard; his daughter Jill Jogis and her husband Brian Jogis and their daughter Brooke Jogis; and his brother Phillip Ringstrom. He was preceded in death by his wife Sharon Ringstrom.
There will be a celebration of life for both Donald and Sharon Ringstrom to be determined at a later date.
