
Born in Iuka, KS on December 30, 1920, Dorothy was the daughter of Emmet Arthur and Verlie Leatherman Keller who preceded her in death, along with two brothers, Wesley and Donald Keller.
Dorothy was a graduate of Friend’s Bible College in Haviland, KS and ministered with her husband in the Free Methodist Church on the Kansas and Colorado Conferences. She also ministered with her husband within the Nazarene church in Colorado. She enjoyed working in various pre-schools in Colorado Springs. After retiring, she enjoyed traveling and seeing the US with her husband and donated numerous hours working at Goodwill refurbishing and dressing dolls for resale.
She is survived by two sons, James P. Reid and his wife Carol of Chatham, England; Jeriel M. Reid and his wife Sharry of Colorado Springs, CO; and one daughter, Dorleita Ballard and her husband, Travis of Fredericksburg; three grandsons, Jonathan Reid and his wife, Imogen of Bristol, England; and Matthew W. Ballard and Michael R. Ballard, both of Fredericksburg; four sisters, Gayleen Fischer of Egg Harbor, WI; Grace Morris of Olathe, KS; Frieda Smith of Wichita, KS; Carol Paulsin of Stafford KS; and four brothers, Emmet and Athol Keller of Iuka, KS; Roy Keller of Hillsboro KS; Roland Keller of Wichita, KS; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 26th, at Mullins & Thompsons Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel with the Rev. Robert Shultz, the Rev. C. S. Fender, and Rev. Walter Westbrook officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
