

Edward Anthony "Ed" Willis, 80, peacefully entered eternal rest on July 4, 2026, at Falls Run Rehabilitation Facility in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Ed was born in Chicago, Illinois, and later moved to Los Angeles, California, where his love for automobiles began to flourish. In 1964, he started his career in automobile sales, turning his lifelong passion for cars into a successful profession. His dedication, integrity, and entrepreneurial spirit eventually led him to establish Alpine Auto Services, a business he proudly owned and operated for more than two decades. Through his work, Ed built lasting relationships with customers who quickly became friends and earned a reputation for honesty, hard work, and exceptional service. On June 8, 1964, Ed married the love of his life, Earlene Willis. Together they shared 60 beautiful years of marriage, building a life centered on faith, love, family, and unwavering devotion. Their marriage was a shining example of commitment, partnership, and unconditional love. Above all else, Ed's greatest joy was his family. He was a compassionate man with a gentle spirit, always willing to lend a listening ear, offer thoughtful advice, or provide a helping hand. His wisdom, kindness, and quiet strength touched the lives of countless family members and friends. Whether sharing stories, offering encouragement, or simply spending time together, Ed made everyone around him feel valued and loved. Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Arbie Willis and Emelda Delores Dixon, his beloved wife, Earlene Willis; sister Janet and his grandson Justin. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving children: Juanita Harris (James), Janet Willis, Tony Willis, Cyndi Willis, and Shelly Hammond (Jesse). He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Darrell Jr., Matthew, Eddie (Jessica), Marcus (Shawn), Juanita "Shiree," Robert "BJ," Randy, Kayla (Keith), TiAna, Martel, Alexsis, BriAna and Jordan. His legacy continues through his beloved great-grandchildren: Kylana, Amani, Jaylen, Jeremiah, Darrell, Desmond, Joshua, Chelsea, Mason, Amia, Elyas, Nolan, Marcus Jr.,. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear
friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him. Ed's life was defined by love, hard work, generosity, and an unwavering dedication to those he held dear. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Though he will be deeply missed, his family finds comfort in knowing that he has been reunited with the love of his life, Earlene.
