Such a kind a caring person truly missed and was a very dear friend many good times  we had I will always remember 🙏🏽 

I remember what a nice, friendly and kind person Edwin was.  I transferred to JCHS from Germany in my senior year.  It was difficult getting to know the students of JC.  Most of them have known each other since childhood but that didn't matter to Edwin.  He introduced himself and walked me to our government class.  He was a first class gentleman!  I will never forget his kindness!

Although we've had sadness in our hearts we've also heard encouraging things concerning Bro Young in his latter weeks. We remember some Holy Ghost filled times. Our condolences go out to his family and friends. Elder and Sis McCuistion.

I have so many memories of Bro. Young but the best ones are of him blessing the Lord on the drums under the unction of the holy ghost! He was a great mentor to the young men at Faith Tabernacle and an anointed preacher. Praying for God's comfort and strength for the family during this time of loss.


I am sorry to hear of the passing of Pastor Edwin Young.  I have know him for many years. My condolences to his family and loved ones. -Pastor Wm. Chalfant, Truth Tabernacle, Leavenworth KS.

Ihave known  Edwin since grade school. He was such a cutie.  He was my 5th grade boyfriend for a short time.  We lived not to far from each and continued to tease each other. We continued in band class,  just as always,  he was  nice and funny. After high school, I would visit my parents and see his brother a few times and he told me how Edwin was doing.  Once later in years he recognized my parents at the hospital  and they spoke for a bit  I will always remember Edwin as a friend who was funny, kind, caring and sweet. May you rest In y peace now. 

Edwin was a classmate and wrestling teammate.  Great wrestler, big heart, and always had a smile on his face throughout high school.  Unfortunately, I lost track of him after departing for college and the Air Force.   My condolences to his family and friends.  

Edwin was in my graduating class at Junction  City High School. He was always a very likable guy! A good wrestler, too! I am so sorry to hear of his passing and pray that he is at peace with the Lord. He will be remembered  at our next class reunion In 2024. I’m sorry for the loved ones he leaves behind. May the lord comfort you at this sad time.

I’m so sorry to hear of Bro. Young’s death. I have such fond memories of both Edwin, Brenda, Jordan and Jaron. I can still remember Edwin preaching that God ‘healed his limp’ when he got saved. I imagine it had something to do with  Brenda singing ‘when I need hope and inspiration...’. I remember babysitting Jordan  on at many camp meetings and youth camps in Miltonvale. Unfortunately I don’t have many memories of Jaron:(. Maybe you guys moved to CA them or I had moved on. Those are precious memories and recent events have broken my heart.  Prayers for your family and all affected. Thankful that we have a merciful God. ❤️
