Eleanor Anne Thomas

She was born on June 29, 1920 in the Bronx, NY, the oldest of Alicia and Edward Muldoon.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a past member of St. Jude Catholic Church having moved out of the area in 2010.

While living in Fredericksburg, she was a member of the Red Hat Society. She also enjoyed bible study and was active within the church community.

She is survived by her son, Edward F. Thomas, Jr. and his wife, Lynda; five (5) grandchildren; Trae Thomas and his wife, Keely; Michael Thomas and his wife, Shannon; Kevin Maiden; David Maiden; Elizabeth McEvoy and her husband, Tim; Eleven (11) great-grandchildren, Peyton, Mason, Reagan, Hudson, Durham, Liam, Dylan, Cara, Tyler, Lexi and Charlie.

She was preceded in death by her husband Edward F. Thomas, Sr. and daughters Alicia Griffith and Mary Maiden, brothers Edward, Jack and Raymond Muldoon.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 27 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Jude Catholic Church, Fredericksburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery.
