She is survived by two sons, Kevin Nason and Corey Nason; daughter, Mai Lynn Peters; seven grandchildren, Jesse Stringer, Mitch Nason, Ben Nason, Laina M. Peters, Daniel J. Peters II, Katie Nason and Liz Nason; five great grandchildren; and brother, George Wage.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Anna Snodgrass and Edna Short.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 from 4-6 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel, with a celebration of life starting at 5:00 pm. A private graveside service will be held in Quantico National Cemetery.
The family request everyone dress in casual attire.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to the American Cancer Association.
