Eric Brooks Warner, 48 of Stafford County, was born on September 8, 1975. He passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Mary Washington Hospital, surrounded by his family, friends, and extended family. Eric was the man. He loved to cook and hunt. Every Sunday he would drink beers, watch NASCAR, and text his friends. He had a big heart and a great sense of humor and will definitely be missed. Eric dedicated his adult life to serving the residents of Stafford County. He volunteered at Mountain View Volunteer Rescue Squad, spent many years with the Hartwood Volunteer Fire Department, and retired from the Rappahannock Regional Jail. He was a mentor to many through his work at the jail and the firehouse. He was described as patience and kind hearted by his coworkers. He loved his family and friends. He also loved Amy’s work family, for how they took care of he and Amy at times. Eric was preceded in death by his Mother, Charlotte Pearson; father, Jimmie Warner; and Cujo (Daddy's little boy).
