Esther Marie Owens Snellings, 84 of Fredericksburg, passed away at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center on Sunday, July 27, 2014. She was born July 23, 1930 in Hop Yard Farm, King George to the late Dewey and Lottie Owens. Her and her late husband Aubrey Snellings were the owners of Snellings Business Machines.
She is survived by her nephews, Danny Mitchell, Edgar Decatur, and Jason Mitchell; nieces, Donna Henabray and husband Col.William Henabray, USAF (Ret) and Sarah Stemann and husband Timothy and their daughter Ruby.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Decatur and Madeline Mitchell; and two brother-in-laws, Morris Decatur and Daniel Mitchell.
A memorial service will be held in Hull’s Baptist Church Cemetery on Friday, August 1, 2014 at 2:30 PM, where she will be inurned with her husband.
Memorials may be made in her name to Fairview Baptist Church, Business Ministry.
