She was born on September 29, 1930, in Syracuse, New York to the late Wellen Eugene Stetson and Margaret (Willfinger) Schirra.
Her first love was Charles (Jack) and at the time of his passing they had been married 74 years. She lived for her family and one of her favorite things to do was cook for them, especially at the holidays or family celebrations. Her house was always decorated festively for every occasion, with her favorite being Christmas.
She was an animal lover and always had a dog. But her last was her favorite…Romeo…her little Shih tzu. In her later years she learned to love softball as Jack was a star player in a senior traveling league. Faith really enjoyed their picnics and she prepared a food spread like no other. Cooking and feeding people seemed to be a love language for her. And she retired as a cook from Fairfax Hospital.
She was a loving mother to six children: Jacqueline A. Strothoff, Barbara L, Moore, David C. Shultz, the late Roger T. Shultz, Beckie L. Gander and Joann Hartman: grandmother to 15 grandchildren, great-grandmother to 11 great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sisters: Sandra Lee (Schirra) Bulger Crimmins and Barbara Stetson Sykora, preceding the deceased are brothers: Wellen Eugene Stetson, Douglas Howard Schirra, and John Adrian Schirra.
Her life was long, happy, and healthy.
