

Francis Carosella Jr., 70, fondly known as Frank or "Frankie Baby", died in his home on July 17, 2020. He is preceded in death by his father, Francis Carosella; mother, Mary Carosella; brother, Patrick Carosella; nephews, Michael Leager and Daniel Carosella; and granddaughter, Maci Lennox. He is survived by his adult children, Denise Seton (Darius), Matthew Carosella, Michael Carosella, and Christina Lennox (John); his brothers, Michael Carosella (Marie), David Carosella (Colleen); his grandchildren, Paul (Samantha), Victoria (Brett), Jonathan, Nicolas, Dominic, and Annelise; and his great-grandchildren, Arya, Annabelle, and Claire. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Frank was known by his friends and family as a hard working employee and committeeman who was "for the people" with UAW Local 2123 during his thirty year tenure at General Motors; a proud former Marine, having served in Vietnam; and a Harley Davidson lover. He also enjoyed attending live music performances, playing guitar, and gathering with family and friends at every opportunity.
Frank overcame cancer in 2000 and served the Lord faithfully as head usher at Christ Episcopal Church of Spotsylvania for several years. He was a member of the Elk's Lodge, BPOE 875 for nineteen years.
He will be remembered for the stories he shared, the jokes he told, and the many happy memories made together throughout the years.
Interment will be private. The family will host a Celebration of Life in Spotsylvania County at a later date where all who knew and loved Frank will be welcome.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank's name to the Wounded Warriors Project.
