She was born in Naranjito, Puerto Rico on June 29, 1923 and lived there until she moved to Spotsylvania-Fredericksburg area in 1986.
She is survived by her loving husband, Carmelo; four children, Migdalia Ortega, Wanda Rivera, Zoraida Santiago, and Stephen Rios; fourteen grandchildren, Peter, Wanda, Cindy, Joseph, Tommy, Iris, Katherine, Jose, Cindy, David, Danny, Laura, Lisa, and Richard; twenty three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carmen Sepulveda and grandson, Paul Sepulveda.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Oak Hill Cemetery at 10:00 AM.
Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service handled the funeral arrangements.
