George Lee Lamb

George “Lee” Lamb of Fredericksburg, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents Irvin and Margaret Lamb and his wife Amy Lamb (Schwartz). He is survived by his daughter Tammy Curry (Lamb), sons Norman Lamb (Cindy), and Adam Lamb (Amy) and grandchildren Claire Curry, Morgan Curry, and Khloe Lamb. He is also leaving behind his brothers and sisters, Charles, Nancy, Ronnie, Wally, and Terry along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Morgan Curry (grandson), Gavin Mines (great nephew), Andrew Mines (nephew), Ronnie Lamb (nephew), Josh Lamb (nephew), and Shaun Hawkins (nephew). Lee, as he was known to those closest to him, lived his life as one grand adventure. Always the life of the party, there was one thing that meant more to him than anything in the world, his family. His family was the center of his world, as he was the center of theirs. Fishing, gardening, enjoying a cold beer on the front porch, even his renowned love of Scotch, these were his simple pleasures. The stories he told grew with every retelling or new set of ears who were willing to listen. He always had time for everyone, he was one to stop and help no matter who you were. We know that he will always have his eye on us and forever live in our hearts.
