He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, as well as a caring great-grandfather.
He is survived by his children James Lowe Jr. "Jay" (Terri) and Michelle Hughes (Jesepth); grandchildren Hailey Rosa-Wood (Ryan), Lake Lowe, Alex Lowe, and Garrett Bourne; and great-grandchildren Blake Rosa-Wood and Nina Lowe. He is also survived by siblings Patricia Daniel Chinn and John B. Daniel.
He was preceded in death by his wife of over 60 years, Laura Lowe; his son Timothy Lowe "Timmy" (Monica); and his sister Frances Carol Cross.
He enjoyed spending time with his family. Some of his favorite things were gardening, camping, and watching the Redskins and NASCAR. He also enjoyed attending antique car shows.
He spent the majority of his career driving trucks. He started Lowe’s Trucking in the 1970s, which he owned and operated until his retirement.
