James Thomas Roberts

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and retired Marine Sgt Major James T. Roberts on Sunday August 30, 2020. He was a Vietnam War Veteran, serving our country for 26 years and was a Purple Heart recipient. He loved his family, the Marine Corps and this Country." He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sandra J. Roberts; his son, James T. Roberts II and wife Carrie; two daughters, Deborah I. Marsh and husband Jeff and Laura A. Rodick; one brother, Patrick Roberts; one sister, Patricia Janora; 12 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 7, 2020 from 6:00-8:00pm at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg with a service at 7:00pm with Pastor Dorian Little officiating. Interment with Military Honors will be held at 10:30am Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at Quantico National Cemetery.
