Was born to Sharise Smith and Dwayne Barnhill on Wednesday June 14th, 1995 in Potomac Hospital. Jayquan attended H.H Poole Middle School and graduated North Stafford HS in 2013.
Jay’Quan loved his family! He was always surrounded by love from a family that cared and loved him more than anything. Jay’Quan was a dedicated Dallas Cowboys fan. His Sundays were spent in front of the tv watching them win seasons and lose playoffs. Jay’Quan entered this world with so much joy. He had the most beautiful smile and man did his Mama love his eyebrows. Jay’Quan shared this world with his brother Valente whom he loved and loved him very much. When Jay’Quan was younger, him and his cousin Malik loved to cruise in their jeeps bumping Missy Elliots “Who’s got the keys to my jeep” bringing about the name “Beep! Beep!” Jay’Quan was the first-born grandchild with 14 others following behind him. He spent most of his time especially his summers with his Grandma Sharon (Ma). He also had a very special name for his Grandma Roberta whom he called “Mamoo.” Talking about special names, his aunties had special names for him such as “Quanold”, “Quan Quan”, “Quannie” , and “QuaQua” to name a few. Now if you don't know, Jay’Quan loved him some food and more than anything loved him some seafood. Crab legs by far was his favorite! And whenever there was a cookout, party or someone was cooking he always made sure someone brought him a plate of food home. His Ma & Grandma Sharon were always like “Let me make Jay’Quan a plate.” Jay’Quan enjoyed so many summers with his cousins Malik, Monaye, Lenyanti, Armondre and Deshaun. The Dream Team!
One of the things that brought Jay’Quan peace was his love for art, football, and music especially rap music. DMX, Wiz Khalifa and Kid Cudi to name a few were his favorite artists. They stayed in his favorite headphones and he didn't go anywhere without those headphones. Jay’Quan may have gone through somethings in life but he always kept a smile on his face and was always surrounded by family and friends! He was loved!
Jay’Quan is preceeded in death by his Grandfather Paxton (Paco) Barnhill Sr, his Grandfather David Johnson and Uncle Paxton Barnhill Jr. He is survived and loved by his mother Sharise Chinbritton, father Dwayne Barnhill, brother Valente Ulysse, Grandparents Sharon Steplight, Roberta Barnhill, Stanley Smith, a host of many other Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, family, friends and his best friend Brandon!
