Jean Haney Truslow

She was born on August 22, 1926 in Spotsylvania to Albert & Sophie Haney.

She was a long time member of the Fredericksburg Baptist Church and the Elsie Perry Sunday School Class.

Jean was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Kenneth "Pete" Varnick and her second husband, Charles Leonard "Pete" Truslow as well as a great grandson, Lane Alexander Prock.

She is survived by her two daughters, Sandra Kaye Slaughter and her husband Craig of Fredericksburg and Jerri Lynn O'Shell and her husband, Dennis Keith O'Shell of Kill Devil Hills N.C.

She is also survived by four granddaughters, Candice Slaughter,Tiffany O'Shell, Carleigh O'Shell, and Devon O'Shell Derrow as well as a great grandson, Bailey Alan Slaughter.

Surviving brother and sister include Wade Haney of Fredericksburg and Barbara Faulconer of Spotsylvania as well as numerous nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be at Mullins &Thompson Funeral Service - Fredericksburg on Monday 11/14 between 6 & 8 P.M

A Memorial Service is scheduled for Tuesday 11/15 at 11 A.M. followed by a burial service at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Larry Haun and Patti English will be officiating and donations in memory of Jean may be sent to The Fredericksburg Baptist Church.
